我没有直接回家。
我把车开到了市中心的一家咖啡馆，坐了二十分钟。
杯子里的美式凉透了，我一口没喝。
脑子里全是老周最后那句话。
老周这个人，我太了解了。
他不是多事的人。
十年，他接送陆景深上下班、出差、应酬，他什么都看在眼里，从来不多嘴一个字。
今天是他退休最后一天。
他专门回头说了这句话。
说明那个暗格里的东西，让他忍了很久。
久到他觉得对不起我。
我拿出手机，翻到陆景深的对话框。
最后一条消息是他发的：今晚有应酬，不回来吃饭。
这句话他说了十年。
每周至少三次。
我从来不问他和谁吃，在哪儿吃。
贤妻嘛。
我关掉手机，启动车子，往家开。
到了别墅车库，陆景深那辆黑色宾利安静地停在那里。
我走过去，打开后备箱。
地毯平平整整。
我伸手摸了摸边缘，找到一个几乎看不出来的缝隙。
往上一掀。
地毯下面有一层夹板，夹板上有个暗扣。
我打开暗扣。
