“奉茶礼，听过吗？”
不等宁希回答，他自顾自地开口。
“季家那个老太太，最喜欢这一套。你嫁给季闻笙，第一件事就是跪在他们家祠堂里，给长辈敬茶。”
他把一杯刚沏好的热茶推到桌沿。
“拿起来，举过头顶，手不能抖。”
宁希伸出手。
她的指尖还在轻颤，那是生理性的反应。
瓷杯很烫，指尖刚触碰到杯壁，就红了一大片。
她忍着痛，把茶杯稳稳地举起来，低头弯腰，摆出一个卑微到极点的姿势。
贺骁臣盯着她那一截白皙的后颈。
“声音呢？”
宁希垂着眼，盯着瓷砖上的倒影。
“请喝茶。”
“重说。”
贺骁臣的声音冷了下去。
“宁希，你的嗓子里塞了棉花？还是说，你觉得嫁给季闻笙是去当少奶奶享清福的？”
宁希闭了闭眼，再次开口。
“请喝茶。”
贺骁臣冷笑一声，他猛地站起身，几步跨到宁希面前。
他居高临下地俯视着她，像是在看一件残次的艺术品。
“头再低点。”
他伸出手，按在宁希的后脑勺上，用力往下一压。
宁希的额头差点撞在冰冷的瓷砖上。
“季闻笙这种废人，除了那点名声，什么都没有。你嫁过去，就是他的手脚，更是他的奴才。你现在这副清高的样子给谁看？”
他夺过宁希手里的茶杯。
滚烫的液体在杯口晃荡。
“这种温度，你就受不了了？”
他手腕一斜。
