周牧野看着他，沉默了一会儿。“因为你。因为爸爸要当你的爸爸，所以是男人。”
小周念想了想，笑了。“那念念也是男人！”
“你是男孩。还不是男人。”
“念念什么时候是男人？”
“长大以后。”
“长大以后念念也要当爸爸吗？”
“你想当就当。”
“念念想当念念的爸爸！”
周牧野把他抱起来，在他脸上亲了一下。“你就是念念的爸爸。不用当。”
父子俩的对话永远在一个循环里打转，但谁都不觉得烦。林清雪在旁边听着，每次都笑。

周牧野在家的日子，林清雪发现了一个变化——他会笑了。不是以前那种嘴角动一下的、几不可察的笑，是真的、从心底翻涌上来的、压都压不住的笑。
有时候是因为小周念说了句好玩的话，有时候是因为林清雪做了他爱吃的菜，有时候什么都不因为，就是坐在沙发上看电视，看着看着就笑了。
“周牧野，你最近老笑。”
“有吗？”
“有。你以前不会笑。”
周牧野想了想。“以前没什么好笑的事。”
“现在呢？”
“现在有。”
“什么事？”
他看着在客厅里骑大熊的小周念，看着在旁边织毛衣的林清雪，嘴角弯了起来。“你们。”
林清雪的眼眶红了，低下头继续织毛衣——她最近在跟婆婆学织毛衣，已经织坏了两件，这是第三件，比前两件好多了，至少能看出来是件衣服。
“你织的什么？”周牧野问。
“毛衣。给你的。”
“什么颜色的？”
“黑色的。”
“为什么是黑色的？”
“耐脏。”
周牧野看着她，嘴角动了动。“你织的，什么颜色都好。”"
