仰头看他。
“秦伯伯。”她说，“我爷爷……”
“送医院了。”秦司令员蹲下，和她平视，“最好的医生在等着。我保证，你爷爷的腿，一定能治好。”
晚晚点头。
眼泪又出来了，但她没哭出声。只是咬着嘴唇，把呜咽憋回去。
秦司令员伸手，抹掉她的眼泪。
手很糙，有老茧。
“晚晚。”他说，“你爸爸是我看着长大的。他当兵，是我送的。他立功，是我颁的奖。”

他说不下去了。
喉结滚动了几下，才继续：“他牺牲的消息传来，我三天没吃饭。不仅是伤心，更多是恨。恨自己没护好他。”
晚晚看着他。
看着这个头发花白的老将军。
他的眼睛是红的。不是熬夜熬的，是别的。
“今天，我跟你保证。”秦司令员一字一句地说，“你爷爷的腿，赵家欠的债，你爸爸的冤——”
“我一定，全部讨回来。”
