笑得很苦，但眼里有光。
“对，像你爷爷。”他说，“你爷爷当年在朝鲜，腿中弹了，还背着伤员爬了三天三夜。卫生员要给他截肢，他拿枪顶着人家的头，说‘敢截老子的腿，老子先崩了你’。”
晚晚也笑了。
笑着笑着，眼泪掉下来。
“所以爷爷的腿，一定要保住。”她抹掉眼泪，“不然他会崩了我。”
“他舍不得。”秦司令员说，“他把你当命。”

下午两点，爷爷醒了。
不是突然睁开眼那种醒。是眼皮动了动，手指勾了勾，喉咙里发出含糊的声音。
晚晚一直握着他的手，第一时间感觉到了。
“爷爷？”
陈铁山的眼皮又动了动。
慢慢睁开。
眼神先是茫然的，盯着天花板看了几秒。然后转动，看见晚晚，停住了。
嘴唇动了动。
没发出声音。
但晚晚看懂了。
他在问：**腿还在吗？**
