周建国走过来，给她披上干衣服。
“晚晚，进屋吧。”他说，“外面冷。”
晚晚摇头。
她看着军车消失的方向。
雨还在下。
但天边，隐约透出一丝光。
她抱紧自己。
轻轻说：
“爸爸。”
“你看见了吗？”
风吹过街道，卷起积水上的落叶。
没有人回答。
只有远去的引擎声，还在雨里回荡。
像雷。
周建国拧干热毛巾，轻轻敷在晚晚额头的伤口上。
血已经止了，但伤口很深，皮肉翻着。碘伏涂上去时，晚晚抖了一下，没出声。
“疼就喊出来。”周建国说。

但远处的引擎声还在响。那是军卡开往槐花村的声音，隔着十几里都能听见动静。
“你……”周建国犹豫了一下，“恨我吗？”
晚晚抬眼看他。
没说话。
“我在镇上武装部，三年了。”周建国继续说，声音很低，“离槐花村十二里。骑自行车，四十分钟。”
他顿了顿。
“可我一次都没去看过你们。”
毛巾凉了。他换了一条热的，继续敷。动作很轻，像对待易碎的瓷器。
“为什么？”晚晚终于开口。"
