碧纱橱，其实就是在房间里用屏风隔出的一间小隔间，
通常是给守夜的丫鬟住的。
贾母被问得噎住，自知理亏，答不上话。
鸳鸯吞吞吐吐地解释：“林姑娘来得急，府里院子没收拾好，就暂时凑合几天。”
贾琦冷哼一声，心里暗骂：狗眼看人低！
不就是欺负林黛玉一个女孩子无依无靠吗？
明明是主子，却睡在丫鬟住的地方。
要不是林如海门户单薄，被人看轻，哪会让林黛玉这样将就？
贾琦脸色严肃：
“这事如果让林姑父知道，只会觉得我们仗势欺人！”
“让迎春搬到我府上，腾出院子给林姑娘住。如果还没地方，就让她也搬去我那儿。”
“省得以后被林姑父笑话！”
这番话点醒了林黛玉。
她来京城后处处小心，低声下气，
年纪小，不懂人情世故，一直没察觉自己被轻视。
被这么一说，她顿时醒悟，心头一阵委屈，
差点掉下眼泪。

贾母半躺在榻上，只觉得心力交瘁。
鸳鸯来报：“老太太，林姑娘跟着二**搬到隔壁伯府去了。”
“那位混世魔王在屋里又哭又闹呢！”
