“听说有位哥哥在战场上斩了金人大贝勒代善……不知是哪位表哥？”
王嬷嬷原是贾敏的贴身侍婢，早年曾在贾府居住。此番林黛玉只带了丫鬟雪雁与她同行。
她温声答：“贾家是侯门府邸，比咱们御史府气派得多。”
“姑娘问的那位公子，应是你大舅舅家的孩子。”
林黛玉闻言，眼中泛起好奇神色。
雪雁年纪小，眨巴着大眼睛抢话：
“王妈妈见过那位哥哥吗？长什么样呀？”
“他能打跑凶巴巴的金人呢！”
“我猜这位三爷肯定长得凶神恶煞、又高又壮！”
“说不定一条胳膊比我的腰还粗！”
林黛玉听了，心里一惊。
王嬷嬷苦笑着摇头：
“记不清了。”
“不过到了京城，应该能见着。”
远处山长水阔。
低沉的号角声忽然响起。
乌云压顶，黑压压一片全是金人骑兵，人马涌动，马蹄声震天动地。
数万铁骑奔腾，大地都在震动。
骑兵前方，却矗立着一座沧桑的城池，
像一头沉睡的巨兽，
挡住了大军南下的去路。
车辇上的金人将领一挥手：
“停！”"
