“祖母，让我住您这里吧。”骆宁笑道，“我都十七了，您与娘不替我寻个婆家？”
她没有顶撞祖母。
也没有大发脾气，叫人看笑话。
别人笑，骆宁也笑，甚至笑得更自然。
“好孩子，你越发大方爽利了。”祖母握住她的手，“住这里也行，别难过。”
“是。”骆宁回握她的手。
暖暖的手，很健朗。
她与祖母说了好一会儿话。
还特意说了表妹白慈容。
“怎么以前没见过这位表妹？”骆宁问。
祖母：“是你大舅舅的嫡女，之前寄养在外地，怕继母迫害她。”
又有点诧异，“你没见过她？”
骆宁摇摇头：“没有。她跟我娘，长得很像。”
“侄女像姑，有福气。”祖母说。
骆宁笑了下。
“你大哥说他见过。”祖母又道。
骆宁再次一笑。
当然见过了，他们才是亲兄妹。
她不吵不闹，在西正院住下，陪伴祖母。
祖母早已不管事，只礼佛。
父母的东正院内，则有点发愁。
“阿宁回来了，还是赶紧给阿容腾挪院子。”父亲说。
母亲则说：“慧能首座指点的，文绮院位置适合阿容住。我想，阿宁可以理解的，她一向懂事。”
又道，“蕙馥院就在咱们正后头，小门相通，方便她与父母亲厚，她应该能接受。”
“内宅琐事，听你做主。”父亲淡淡说。
他去了宋姨娘的院子睡。
翌日，母亲叫了骆宁前去。
“……娘日夜思念你。要不是有你表妹相伴，恐怕缠绵病榻，你回来就见不到娘了。”母亲哭着，拉了骆宁的手。
